Tech Tip: The controller must be COMPLETELY REMOVED from the car when doing any
welding. These are computers and you will definitely kill them. I have found out the hard way
that it is also a smart move to remove the datalogger and the main ignition box (especially if its a digital).

1: Setup is via software. You can pre-program 2 seperate timing profiles that can be chosen with a dash switch.
Let’s say you are in the staging lanes and someone ahead of you oils your lane. Flip the switch on the dash from profile 1 to a softer profile 2 and go for it. You could even have a left lane, right lane profile. The profiles can be also saved to a file for future use.

For those of you who do not normally need a progressive controller this could be handy when you run into a bad lane or the dew comes in making the track slick. Flip from program 1 which would be set up as your normal instant ON profile to program 2 which softens your nitrous hit.

2: The progressive time is accumulative. If you have to pedal the car the progressive shuts off and when you step back on the gas it remembers where you were in the time line. It resumes where you left off. In a tight race you probably have lost anyway but at least you now you have a shot.

3: There are 6 timer outputs and 4 of these stages can either be pulsed or serve as a simple ON timer.
Why progress 2 or more stages? Nitrous produces an incredible torque spike and this unsettles the suspension. You pulse the second or more stages just enough to soften the hit and spread the torque out a little bit. Don’t overlook the possibility of controlling staged dry systems also.

5: The fifth stage is time ON only. This can be used as a “1000 foot” ignition change or what ever you can dream up. It, as well as all the other stages, can be turned on at any point in the time line you choose.

6: The default on the 6th timer is set as a trans brake lockout which will not allow the trans brake to be activated after the leaving the line according to a time frame you set. If you have no need for this feature it can be used as a timer for whatever you please.

7: The nitrous solenoids and fuel solenoids can be controlled seperately. This is handy if you prefer to stagger the ON time of either type of solenoid. Do away with those long feed lines! You can control 1 or 2 stages in the progressive mode and one instant ON or 3 stages in an instant ON mode.

8: The purge valve can be tied to the timers reset button. This is a neat way not to mess up your race procedures before staging the car. Purge and reset in one click!

9: The controller does a self diagnostic test every time it is turned on and there is a built in fail safe mode that shuts the nitrous down if the programming or electrical goes berserk.

10: You don’t have to run nitrous to make use of this tool. You can use this as an all-in-one timer box to activate any item you desire.

11: Wiring is no harder than any ignition or nitrous system. The software is user friendly and works with windows 98 and up.

12: Immune to outside electrical interference.

13: A Turbo nitrous version is available to eliminate the turbo lag. It works in reverse. Full hit initially then ramping down as the turbo spools up.

14: You can pretest your circuits and programming via the box lights.
